The game of Gachaverse opens up with a cutscene detailing the event that follows the game’s setting. It then introduced the character, a mobile game addict who is down on his luck and depressed of only getting three-star characters in freemium Gacha games. Angered of getting subpar characters, he destroyed his phone and wondered what to do next while wallowing in misery. Out of thin air, a sword and a fairy appear. You can pretty much guess what happens next. The protagonist grabs the “Gachasword” and enters the world of Gachas. 

There are eight characters in Gachaverse, all of which you can use in playing the game. And as mentioned, this game lets you customize not just your chosen avatar but all the characters as well. The character customization is extremely varied with options including hairstyles, outfits, weapons, and accessories. It also lets you choose the characters’ facial expressions, eye styles, and color. You can even adjust the pose of your avatar, from normal poses to animated ones. What’s more, you have the liberty to choose the background and relationships between the characters. 

There are also various presets that you can choose from if you do not want to spend hours building your character. Gachaverse offers a wide berth of character customization options that the game seems like a glorified, anime-style dress up game. 

Create Your Own Skit

Besides allowing you to design your character, Gachaverse also gives you the creative freedom to tell your story. The app comes with a Studio feature where you can create any scene you can imagine. You can add any, and all characters to your scene and add text bubbles with your messages.

The studio tab comes with options to change the background to help you set the mood of your story. From street scenes and rooms to the beach and even outer space, the app has various settings to choose from. Furthermore, there are props that you can add to your skit. The props function offers cute, anime-style images of pets, props, and special effects. There are also other extra characters that you can include to your scene in addition to the eight major characters.

For even more fun, you can create a story with multiple skits using the Skit Maker mode.  This mode lets you create up to 100 skits for more complex scenes. 

Gachaverse also comes with a chat feature to let you interact with other gamers. More so, it has a sharing option, allowing you to post and view videos and skits on Facebook, Twitter or Discord. To unlock this feature, you would need to download the additional data.
